Mandy and Paul were married on December 16th, 2011 at Montavilla Baptist Church in Portland, with their reception held at the Adrianna Hill Ballroom downtown. It was one of the largest weddings we’ve photographed: over 450 people. Everyone was absolutely fantastic, including their families and 20-member bridal party. Mandy and Paul are obviously very loved by a lot of wonderful people.

Their portraits were taken up on Mount Tabor, where we were regaled with stunning winter afternoon light coming through the trees. Perfect timing.

Erica and Ronak’s extraordinary east/west wedding brought families from India and Bermuda together for a beautiful evening at the Governor Hotel. I was delighted by the range of dress (sarees from India, shorts/kneesocks/suspenders from Bermuda, suits and dresses from elsewhere). Everything was immaculately decorated and arranged, with glorious flower details. Truly a delightful event.

Tiffany and Chance were married on a beautiful June afternoon near South Falls in Silver Falls State Park. Tiffany made her own dress and looked absolutely radiant, while Chance looked so very dapper in his handsome custom suit. Jenna and I had a wonderful time shooting portraits with them and their bridal party in the forest and down by the waterfall. Their ceremony was backed by the forest with a small group of family and friends.

Congratulations, Tiffany and Chance! Many, many happy years of love to you both!

Jesse and Beth can’t keep a straight face–proven fact. During their engagement session, all we did was laugh. I tried a couple of “sensitive/serious” shots–not happening. None of those shots looked like the Jesse and Beth I had gotten to know. They’re just always having too much fun.

The same held true for the wedding. Laughing, hugging and lots of smiles permeated the beautiful (hot) summer day out at the Leach Botanical Garden in Southeast Portland. Beth looked so beautiful with her bouncy curls.

The best part? Beth loves cake. So they didn’t just have one cake. No. They had eleven cakes.

This summer, I had the pleasure of photographing Nancie and Carl’s gorgeous wedding at the Merrywood Farm in Beavercreek, Oregon. Not only was the weather ideal, the farm had such beautiful spaces for the wedding. Both Nancie and Carl’s families were incredibly sweet, and it was a perfect day!
